About Us – The History of MC Distributing

MC Distributing was founded in 1985, starting as a small mechanic shop focused on keeping motorcycles running strong. Like many in the industry, we quickly discovered how hard it was to find reliable parts for vintage motorcycles — especially older models.

After building a relationship with a trusted Japanese parts supplier and testing their products ourselves, we were impressed by the quality and fit. We saw the opportunity to fill a critical gap for other motorcycle shops struggling to source high-quality, hard-to-find parts.

That’s when MC Distributing shifted gears — from a mechanic shop to a dedicated supplier, focused on providing the parts motorcycle shops truly needed.

Driven By the Same Mission, Nearly 40 Years Strong

From day one to today, our mission is simple: deliver top-quality motorcycle parts to dealers, shops, and passionate riders who keep bikes alive and on the road.

Over the years, we've built countless printed catalogs to help our customers, but times have changed. The high cost of print and the need for real-time access to inventory led us to create our first-ever dealer-only webstore — giving you faster, easier access to the parts you rely on.

We carry parts for all major Japanese motorcycle brands, offering everything from essential maintenance items to specialized performance upgrades.

Your Trusted Source for Hard-to-Find Motorcycle Parts

Today, MC Distributing offers over 5,000 SKUs and counting, including rare, discontinued, and remanufactured parts you won’t find anywhere else. We specialize in components critical to vintage motorcycles, like carburetors, fuel system parts, electrical components, and more — many of which we source, manufacture, or remanufacture ourselves to meet industry demand.

Whether you're restoring a classic or helping a customer upgrade their ride, we’re here to support you with dependable parts, expert service, and a commitment to keeping motorcycles running strong.

Proudly Supporting the Motorcycle Community Since 1985

Our passion for motorcycles is what fuels us — and nothing makes us prouder than knowing our parts help bring bikes back to life.

We’re excited to offer this new web platform, making it even easier for dealers to access the parts they need, when they need them.

Thank you for choosing MC Distributing. We look forward to being part of your next project — and we’re always here to help with any questions or parts support you need.
